As a young girl, Robin Frey developed her skills in drawing, painting and sculpture along with her older sister; her greatest inspiration. Robin went on to pursue her formal art training at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida and Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida.
Robin has a diverse background in the visual arts. She has freelanced as an illustrator and is skilled in watercolor, portraits and architectural renderings. She has worked as a fine artist for Chrishawn Associates in Bradenton, Florida, an art and accessories manufacturing facility. While there, Robin produced fine art and painted furniture for interior designers and furniture stores such as Robb and Stuckey, Saxon Clark and Furniture Classics.
A scenic artist in the entertainment industry, Robin has worked for Disney, Universal, Six Flags of Georgia and Ripley’s. She has worked on movie and concert sets, parade floats, and educational exhibits for Florida Power & Light.
Robin keeps up with current trends in faux finishing by attending workshops and tradeshows. She has a wide range of finishes in her portfolio- high end as well as for the budget conscious. She is equally skilled in murals and trompe l’oeil (fool the eye) effects.
With over 25 years in the art and design field, Robin is able to use her various talents to produce the highest quality in faux finishes and murals.
She executes her work with dedication, and demands the highest quality from herself. Robin says it best herself, “I treat every home with attention to detail as if it were my own.”
